• 1 hour of classroom video instruction / 1 hour of dry land practice / 5 hours of on water practice
• Understanding river hazards
• Hands on practice with throw bags
• Rope handling and knot practice
• M/A 3 to 1 rope systems
• Water swimming techniques / with and without gear
• On water kayak rescue technique for paddler rescue
• On water gear retrieval
• On water unconscious paddler flip and recovery
• Group Rescue management and leadership roles
